Joint research on the resource utilization of “Sargassum”

We are pleased to announce that we have reached an agreement with Hiroshima University to commence joint research on the resource utilization of “Sargassum” using microorganisms. “Sargassum” is a type of seaweed that floats in the ocean without rooting, and it is currently proliferating in the Caribbean Sea, washing up on beaches and significantly impacting local tourism.  This joint research aims to clarify the potential of Sargassum as a resource and contribute to environmental purification in the Caribbean Sea and the recovery of local tourism.  As part of our ongoing commitment to contributing to the international community, we will continue to actively engage in joint research with universities and other institutions.
