We visited the Embassy of Ukraine and handed over the donation for the 2nd Charity Concert in support of Ukraine.

We visited the Embassy of Ukraine in Japan and handed over the certificate of donation amounted ¥9,254,926 to the Ukrainian Ambassador to Japan, Dr. Serhiy Korsunsky, which was raised at the 2nd Ukraine Support Charity Concert held on December 23rd last year.

Currently, in Ukraine, hospitals and fire stations are under attack by Russian forces, and there is an extreme shortage of emergency vehicles, especially in regional cities, hindering the rescue of lives.  To support this humanitarian effort, 26 used emergency vehicles from Okayama Prefecture are scheduled to be donated to Ukraine.  The donations from the concert will be used to cover part of the transportation costs for these emergency vehicles.

Ambassador Korsunsky expressed his gratitude once again for the goodwill of the Japanese people.  In response, Mr. Takigawa, our president, expressed his hopes for the realization of peace in Ukraine.
